ABOUT

SARACENO MEDIA is a Bay Area media production company specializing in short form marketing and event videography/photography.

Scott Saraceno Videography and Photography in the Bay Area

A Massachusetts native, I studied Broadcasting and Film at Boston University. Post-graduation, I was a press photographer for several Boston newspapers and a production assistant on local Hollywood film productions. I also exhibited, published, and sold my fine art photographs to collectors.

I relocated to San Francisco after college to pursue event videography – developing my shooting and editing skills at one of the premiere wedding videography companies in the Bat Area. I later became the Media Director of a large commercial art gallery, where I produced video, print, and digital content for artists and exhibitions in the US and abroad. In the early 2000s, I began my own business providing media services to a variety of clients from corporate to non-profit to galleries and museums.

Clients describe me as creative, reliable, resourceful and easy-going.

When I’m not behind a camera, you can find me exploring some passions like puppetry, old-films, and good cocktails.

Scott understands fully the direction needed to create customized videography that’s truly unique in its vision, providing clients with an effective and instinct-laden finished product.

His work is professional, yet personal. Scott can create work that looks and feels branded, as well as produce unique and personal depictions that truly capture the mood and feel of an event.
— James Norrena | Digital Communications Editor + Content Manager
Scott has created several videos for Kaiser Permanente San Francisco, highlighting the accomplishments of our Physicians of the Year and celebrating our response to the COVID pandemic. These videos have brought laughter and tears to everyone in the audience. He always strikes just the right tone, and the production quality is incredible. Highly recommend!
— Alison Cooke MD | Chief of Hospital Medicine Kaiser Permanente San Francisco
Scott is amazing and continues to impress every time.
He delivers professionally and efficiently while also giving more than expected.
I would not launch a company without him.
— Courtney Kehl | Expert Marketing Advisors
I’ve used Scott’s services over the past 25 years...He is fast, friendly, creative and thoughtful in his approach.  He makes the process very easy, especially for someone like me who is not that technical.
— Susan Sangiacomo, San Francisco
Scott came as a referral when I needed a professsional who had experience providing high quality results and working within the constraints of a non profit budget. As a newly hired Marketing Manager I was challenged with the task of buidling an image library from scratch with lots of focus on dynamic movement and high energy while still capturing a spirit of community for our non profit. Scott was extremely attentive, professional, and reliable. The images and video he captured exceeded expectations and have been instrumental in raising the bar for our rebranding project, a website overhaul and creating collateral for new products and services.
I highly recommend his services and talent.
— Christopher Holquin | Digital Marketer/Project Management
Scott is a talented professional and a pleasure to work with. He takes all of the professional headshots for staff at Energy Foundation. As a businessman, he is responsive and reliable, and his fees are fair, especially given the Bay Area market. He works around our schedule and is as unobtrusive as he can possibly be when he’s in our office taking photos. As an artist, his images are exactly what we need—every time—and he always makes sure we are happy with the end result. He is creative and talented at making workplace photos sing! As a person, Scott puts his subjects at ease and is a pleasure to hang out with in between photo sessions. We cannot more highly recommend him.
— Jenny Coyle | Senior Manager of Communications, Strategic Partnerships, Energy Foundation
Scott is a very skilled photographer/graphic designer/videographer. He is also one of the most creative people I know. He has an eye for just about anything and has helped our organization get noticed in new, innovative and unique ways through his various skill-sets. He is great to work with, meets his deadlines, and is a very effective communicator. I recommend Scott without hesitation.
— Jared Scherer | Director, Donor Events, California Academy of Sciences
Scott took photos of the staff at the Water Foundation. He was thoughtful, patient, and a pleasure to work with throughout the process. He helped a group of people who don’t enjoy getting their photos taken feel at ease and even have some fun with it. The results are beautiful and fitting to our personalities. Thank you!
